Founder Victor Battle Victor Battle grew up playing basketball. He played all through college and then graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice. Working as a school teacher in North Jersey he decided to end his career as a school teacher and pursue a new career in entertainment. He had always said, "Some guys got to go to the NBA, I got to do this: someday I will have my own league of players strong enough to compete with team USA in the Olympics.", "Success comes from what you do with what you were given. Don’t try to be someone you aren’t, it just won’t happen.” One picture in particular published in Richard Corman's "Glory Photographs of Athletes", featured Victor as a Street Baller. Other athletes such as Muhamad Ali , Michael Jordan and Ken Griffey are among some of the greatest athletes that also grace the pages. It’s been over 15 years since Victor’s career in the entertainment industry began, and since then he’s been in countless music videos, commercials, movies and print ads. By 2000, Victor had moved out to Hollywood to pursue his acting career, and as he met more and more people, he decided to start Hoopshots.tv to help other people just coming into town get into the business. Over the years he has helped many people get jobs in commercials and movies. In the future he plans on taking The People's League to the White House to play.

CO-Founder / President Dante Anthony
As a young man Dante Anthony grew up with a passion for playing sports & business. During his senior year in high school his basketball team won their intramural tournament and in college he played baseball. During the summer of 2009, Dante and Victor Battle met poolside at Dante’s Los Angeles home. Dante, a successful mortgage and corporate funding entrepreneur was in the mist of starting several new companies. Once he burst onto The People's League scene in the fashion that he’s accustomed to: “Go Big or Go Home”, The People's League grew in both popularity and success. He’s a flashy guy that’s not afraid to take risks and The People's League, a grass roots program at the time needed that type of boost. He’s creative and his experience and perseverance is what makes him stand out.
